Fall arrester travelling on the rope

The Petzl® ASAP with its unique blocking system has set standards in the field of fall protection devices for workers at height. During normal use, the device automatically follows the user's movements on the rope without manual intervention. In the event of a fall or abrupt acceleration, the ASAP locks onto the rope and stops the user. Depending on the intended use, the ASAP can also be combined with an ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS energy absorber in order to work away from the rope.

PETZL CARABINER OK

The lightweight Petzl-OK carabiner is made of aluminium. Its oval shape makes it possible to optimally position devices such as pulleys, rope clamps and travelling fall arresters. The edge-free surface on the inside and the keylock system make it easy to attach and detach. It is available with three locking systems: the automatic TRIACT-LOCK and BALL-LOCK systems and the manual SCREW-LOCK system. The OK can be combined with the CAPTIV positioning bracket to favour the load on the carabiner in the longitudinal axis, prevent it from twisting and ensure that it forms a fixed unit with the device.

The lightweight asymmetric Bm'D carabiner from Petzl is made of aluminium. Its D-shape is ideal for attaching various devices (abseiling devices or lanyards for work positioning). The edge-free surface on the inside and the keylock system make it easy to attach and detach. The Bm'D carabiner is equipped with the TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking system. The reinforced sleeve improves the frontal and lateral breaking load of the gate. The Bm'D can be combined with a positioning bar to favour the load on the carabiner in the longitudinal axis, prevent it from twisting and ensure that it forms a fixed unit with the device.
