The SHIELD from Edelrid is a lightweight and robust softshell helmet with an innovative fastening system and excellent ventilation. This makes it an ideal helmet for long and demanding adventures.The helmet's lightweight in-mould construction consists of a foamed EPS core and a robust polycarbonate shell. The chin strap is fully adjustable with side buckles for a high level of comfort. The four robust clips on the SHIELD make it easy to attach headlamps.Edelrid's Wing Fit system with a rotary knob at the back of the head enables optimum adjustment to any head shape. The inner shape is ergonomic and equipped with removable, washable padding. The helmet has tested impact protection on the sides and in the front and back of the head in accordance with EN 12492.
